Fan Moment for Oscar Winning Actor Nicolas Cage and His Son When They Met Trailblazing WWE Hall of Famer

WWE reached different heights around 1985 by introducing Hollywood celebrities into the world of pro-wrestling. The celebrities added an extra element to the company with their appearance. There are many celebrities like Mr.T, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Nicolas Cage, Bad Bunny, Logan Paul, etc. who are fans of WWE.

Many pro-wrestlers have also gone on to become Hollywood celebrities. Most notable among them are Dwayne The Rock Johnson and now John Cena. With them entering Hollywood, the bond between WWE and Hollywood has gotten strong.

The late 90s was a different era both for pro-wrestling and Hollywood. Both sectors went very hand in hand together. The fans liked edgier content back then, and they got it from movies. The pro-wrestling world followed it and changed its content.

Recently, a Twitter account named 90s WWE, that posts pictures related to pro-wrestling from the nineties, shared a picture. The picture was of the Hollywood actor Nicolas Cage and his son Weston Cage with the Ninth Wonder of the World Chyna. 

The caption was, “Nicholas Cage and his son, Weston, meet Chyna backstage 📸”

WWE’s popularity skyrocketed when the attitude era arrived. During that time, Chyna was the highlight in the Women’s division during that time. She was the one who even gave male wrestlers a tough time in the ring.

Nicolas Cage is a wrestling fan and although he has not appeared in WWE, he took this picture backstage when Chyna was with D Generation X. The casting team also considered the Ghost Rider movie actor for the lead role in the movie The Wrestler because of his fandom of pro-wrestling.

Not all the celebrities who are WWE fans have appeared on the show. Nicolas Cage is one of those celebrities.  

John Cena posts random pictures on his Instagram. He is known to just post a picture and not add a caption on the post. Cena once posted a picture of Ric Flair, but his face was edited by Nicolas Cage’s face, and “Nic Flair” was written on the picture.

The picture was a buzz on social media as John Cena’s social media reach is widespread and many fans were talking about it.
