Roman Reigns returned to WWE at SummerSlam 2024 and was immediately acknowledged by the fans. Little did he know that a look-alike of his is also on the rise. Not only does this indie pro wrestler look like Reigns, but he also recently visited his workplace and flabbergasted the talents present there.

WWE stars visited NYC last weekend for a Fanatics Fest which lasted for three days. Fans had the opportunity to meet their favorite superstars. Although the Original Tribal Chief wasn’t slated to show up, his look-alike was there to fill in for him and it surprised some of the stars.

Roman Reigns’ acknowledgment takes place

The Bloodline takes ‘acknowledgment’ pretty seriously. It generally means that you accept the other person as your chief, doing the one-up gesture. This honor was shown to Onix Caballero, who happens to be a pro wrestler among the variety of professions that he follows. Caballero happens to look a lot like Roman Reigns. More than his facial features, he has chosen to look a lot like the former Head of the Table, getting similar tattoos and hairstyles. In a video that he posted on social media, the wrestler shows how he met up with Austin Theory, Grayson Waller, and Trick Williams at the Fanatics Fest. In the clip, the WWE talents can be seen ‘acknowledging’ the “Tribal Chief“.

Onix Caballero surely resembles the former Undisputed Universal Champion, making up for a hilarious moment. But he doesn’t have to fight the same battles that Roman Reigns has had to.

The Original Tribal Chief makes immense efforts to continue his passion

Long ago, in 2007, the Anoa’i family’s chief was diagnosed with chronic myelogenous leukemia. Since then, the fatal medical condition has been loyal to him, not leaving his side despite the continuous medical treatment. Fans have extended their prayers to him and his family on various occasions, but it is hurtful to realize that there are certain things that they may not help their favorite star with. Unfortunately, Roman Reigns has to fight through this condition every day and while it may not be easy for him to do, his resilience is inspiring.

After his grand return at SummerSlam this year, a video resurfaced on the internet that showed WWE legends talking about how Roman Reigns has to continuously battle leukemia to not let it get the best of him. There are days when he can’t get out of bed but looking at his physique and sharp wrestling skills, we can tell that he wins the psychological warfare with cancer often, pushing himself past his own limits. Since Caballero is so moved by Reigns’ wrestling that he decides to look like him, he must also respect the resilience that he brings to the table.
