The Bloodline faction is one of the most respected stables of WWE. Its members include Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman, Solo Sikao, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, and Sami Zayn. Roman Reigns is considered the ‘Tribal Chief’ of the faction, whereas Paul Heyman is the “Wise Man” or the advisor of the faction.

The establishment of this feared faction has to be one of the most interesting storylines at WWE. But how did it all start? And how did Reigns become such an important part of the faction?

The first member to join the stable was Jey Uso. Jey Uso and Roman Reigns faced each other in a Hell in a Cell match back in 2020. Although he lost the match, he joined forces with Roman Reigns in July 2021. For a while, it was just Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, and Paul Heyman in the stable.

Jimmy Uso was yet to acknowledge Reigns as the Tribal Chief. On the SmackDown episode which aired on July 9th, 2021, the Uso brothers solidified their stance with their Tribal chief and Jimmy Uso also became a part of the stable.

The Usos were quickly climbing the ranks as they defeated the father-son tag team of Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio. They also defeated the tag team RK-Bro which consisted of Randy Orton and Matt Riddle. On the other hand, Roman Reigns became the undisputed champion after he defeated Brock Lesnar. Around mid-2022, Sami Zayn joined as the ‘Honoury Uce’ whereas in September of the same year, The Usos’ real-life younger brother Solo Sikoa also joined the faction.

With Paul Levesque being directly involved with Paul Heyman and Roman Reigns in the creative process, the faction has garnered a lot of love from the fans. But what fans were not expecting was seeing the faction crumble.

The fall of The Bloodline

Things changed at the Royal Rumble this year. After suffering a beating by almost all the members of the stable, Reigns told Zayn to hit Kevin Owens. But things changed as Zayn had a change of heart and instead attacked Reigns with a steel chair. After this Zayn exited the faction and Jey Uso got a bit distant from The Bloodline.

Things started to get even more sour when Sikao almost hit Jey Uso with a Samoan Spike during a six-man tag team match. After some time, Solo Sikao and Roman Reigns challenged Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn for the Undisputed Tag Team championship title. As the Usos were present there to help them, things took a hard left.

The Uso’s accidentally superkicked Solo Sikoa. This was the final nail in the coffin as this led to the tag team match between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikao vs. The Uso Brothers. However, Jey Uso decided to leave The Bloodline as he was done fighting with his brothers and was planning to altogether leave WWE. But thanks to Cody Rhodes, he made his way to the Monday Night Raw. With the original intentions behind the formation of The Bloodline being revealed, it is interesting to know what lies ahead for Jey Uso and Roman Reigns.
