Going by the name drug-jail fans might wonder if it is something more serious, and substance-related. However, it is not. The particular incident mostly revolved around their movie, ‘Walking Tall’, and how the two shared their time together on set.

The film involves, a man returning to his hometown after serving time, only to find things not the way they were supposed to be. The film was directed by Kevin Bray and starred Dwayne Johnson, Johnny Knoxville, and Ashley Scott.

The hilarious incident started as a means of Knoxville often cracking Johnson on set. During an interview back with MTV in 2004, The Brahma Bull of WWE stated, “You know, we’d be in this scene together and it’s somewhat of a dramatic scene and he’s telling me, ‘Listen, I went to jail, I was on drugs’ and things like that. And I’m trying to listen to him, and until right before the director would yell “Action!”

The film has varied use of drugs, substances, and prison. And this prompted Knoxville to crack the joke. While fans were mostly unaware of this situation, it was basically a joke cracked by the Jackass star and involved neither real drugs nor prison.

Knoxville is popularly known for his role in ‘Jackass‘ and then starred with The Rockin ‘Walking Tall’. The entire incident was based on the hilarious thing which Knoxville spoke about and was not based on anything real or specific.

The 52-year-old Knoxville would also further crack Johnson up on the set with his hilarious antics. Johnson claimed, “Johnny would be eating something crazy like tuna fish and peanut butter or sour milk and who knows whatever else dirt and salamanders, whatever and he’d drink, like, soda and right before the take, he’d be like [he pretends to throw up] and blow it in my face. I’d be like, “Oh God!,” and I’d chase after him, but you know, that wouldn’t work.”
