Looks like WWE is not taking the live audience for granted this time over. The former NXT UK women’s champion Toni Storm made her debut on this week’s SmackDown edition.
WWE advertised Kross would appear on SmackDown this Friday. This was in the works for several weeks amid many call-ups from NXT by the chairman Vince McMahon himself.
During her run in the black-and-gold brand, she was a formidable heel and was often portrayed as a threat to the NXT Women’s division.

Her first match on the main roster was against the likes of Zelina Vega. As soon as her music hit, the fans started cheering her. A few minutes into the match, Storm picked up some pace and started dishing out her punishment on Vega.
Eventually, Storm beat Vega in an impressive debut match putting the women’s division on notice.

Toni Storm will “climb” her way to the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship
After an impressive in-ring performance on SmackDown, The 25-year-old athlete was questioned backstage and was asked about how she is looking forward to her run on the Blue Brand.
“If we look at the history books. I went to NXT UK, climbed that ladder. Went to NXT, climbed that ladder. And now I’m here, Friday Night SmackDown ready to climb this big-big ladder to SmackDown Women’s Championship. Expect to see good things.”
Considering her previous accolades, this statement has some truth in it. However, the women’s title journey might get bumpy for the Kiwi athlete as many other superstars are in line for it.
The WWE Universe might get to see some dream matches
Make no mistake, Toni Storm has proven time and time again that she is a championship material superstar under any wrestling promotion.
Storm debuted for NXT as a babyface back in 2020 at TakeOver 31 but turned heel in November, attacking Ember Moon.
