

In addition to his three-letter corporation, Vince McMahon has had a major contribution to the expansion of the pro wrestling industry as a whole. Therefore, McMahon’s departure from WWE caused a major disruption in the promotion. After that, the new leadership—which now consists of Triple H, Nick Khan, and his daughter Stephanie McMahon—started executing their ideas and delivered blockbuster shows.
On the other hand, Rob Kligman, former WWE Vice President, Global Digital & Integrated Sponsorship Sales, joined our ‘Essentially Rasslin’ Podcast. During his appearance, he stated that he still believes that McMahon is currently active in the organization.

Kligman sat down to talk with Ishan Chavan of Essentially Sports and shared some of the interesting stories from his time in the WWE. Notably, the former VP was asked during the conversation about his thoughts on The Big Man’s retirement and provided an unexpected response.

He stated, “I still think he’s around. I don’t think he’s gone from WWE. I know he doesn’t have the title of Chairman, or CEO any longer. But that was a life, that’s his life. So I do think he is around. And I think he’ll be around for many years to come, to be honest with you.”
Why does Kligman think Vince McMahon will remain with the company forever?
Kligman made it abundantly plain that he believes McMahon remained engaged in the business and would remain so for an indefinite time. Also, he said that the WWE is notorious for its plotlines as he served as a top executive of the business, and explained, he might do so once more.

He added, “I think Vince McMahon will live on and I think his pulse is still on the business. And I think this is a crucial time for everybody to work hard together to make sure that no we don’t know what’s gonna have with AEW or any other competitor that might want to come and try to grab some of the superstars’ end of our storyline.”

Kligman believes that Stephanie McMahon and HHH are leading the company very well. But in his opinion, there is McMahon’s mind behind some of the recent storylines. Indeed, this strongly adds to the possibility that Mr. McMahon is still actively involved in the business, considering Kligman’s background and his position as the company’s top executive.
