WWE has been a bit shallow without its fans, and the excitement isn’t the same. WWE needed to up its game, and up its game it has.
The company recently announced that they will be moving to a new stadium. They will be broadcasting matches here – their own ThunderDome.
The Amway Center in Orlando, Florida, will be the new home for WWE and all its brands. From the August 21st episode of SmackDown, WWE matches are going to be shot at Amway. WWE will move from the usual Performance Centre.

WWE’s main plan here is to create a much better experience for fans. The Amway Center will provide all of this and more.
The new state-of-the-art set, video boards, pyrotechnics, lasers, graphics, and drone cameras have been prepared. This will give fans the best experience.
In a recent statement to Sports Illustrated, WWE Executive Vice President, Television Production Kevin Dunn expresses the image the team has for ThunderDome.
“WWE has a long history of producing the greatest live spectacles in sports and entertainment, yet nothing compares to what we are creating with WWE ThunderDome,” says Dunn. “This structure will enable us to deliver an immersive atmosphere and generate more excitement amongst the millions of fans watching our programming around the world.”
WWE plans on giving viewers an immersive experience
Dunn promises a highly upgraded viewer experience that is bound to be a virtual masterclass. He also gives us a vivid image of what this project will soon gift fans.
“We can now do things production-wise that we could never otherwise do,” said Dunn. “We’re flying drones in the arena, we are putting a roof inside the Amway Center, and we’ll be able to project content onto the roof. So when a big star like Drew McIntyre comes down to the ring, the whole arena will turn into his content with lasers, pyro, smoke, projections on the top of the building, and on the floor. It will be a big, beautiful entrance, better than WrestleMania.”
