Social media has been fuming again with yet another online feud. However, this time around, it’s not between two entities. Instead, the battle is going on between Grayson Waller and Taylor Swift’s fans. What started as a small comment a few days ago has turned into a number of jibes from both sides. Even without the pop star’s involvement, the dispute has grown bigger.

How did the WWE star initiate the drama with Taylor Swift?

Grayson Waller appeared on WWE’s The Bump a few days ago. As part of the official interview, he mostly stayed in kayfabe while answering most of the questions the interviewers asked him. In one of the topics, we can find him talking about Taylor Swift’s recent dating rumors. Asking his opinions about Swift dating Travis Kelce, Waller said, “Good for Trav. I’m not the kind of guy who’d settle for a 6, but each to their own. To me personally, I like a little bit of spice — I like a 9 or a 10.”

This became the root of the problem. Taylor Swift’s fans, who call themselves ‘Swifties’ started attacking Waller wherever they got the chance. According to them, the songwriter is not a ‘6’ on a scale from 1-10.

Here, Waller was presumably commenting as his heel self, without thinking twice about the controversies it can create. Just like all other actions, the consequences of this comment also chased him down.

After calling ‘Swifties’, “Ugly losers,” Waller realized that the next mature step should be to apologize to the internet for what he did a few days ago. The video opened up sincerely. However, when ‘The Arrogant Aussie’s heel side kicked in, he thrashed the pop singer’s fans yet again. Till now, he didn’t consider Taylor to be attractive overall, but now, he realized that he is not a fan of her music either, and roasted her during the apology video.

If this wasn’t enough, during the live event on 22nd October, Waller wore a fan t-shirt with Taylor Swift all over it. On the back of it, there is a huge announcement where the Australian wrestler claimed him to be a ‘Swifty’, to troll the fanbase once more. To add to the already burning fire, he even did a popular ‘Taylor Swift handshake’ with his partner-in-crime, Austin Theory.
