Dwayne Johnson listened to the voice of the fans and turned heel, as confirmed by his recent promo at SmackDown. In the promo, he not only dissed Cody Rhodes but also the fans at the Delta Centre. He also dropped subtle hints at turning on Roman Reigns while keeping a straight face advocating him. However, the fans were smart enough to pick up on the cues from The Rock.

Five hints thrown by The Rock hinting at turning on Roman Reigns

1. “Long game” post: The Rock took to Instagram on 4th February, just days before the WrestleMania XL Kick-Off Press Conference, to make a post about Roman Reigns. The caption for his post read, “This is gonna be so much fun. Long game.” Indicating that his heel turn isn’t the only twist in the story.

2. Cody is a loser: In the recent episode of SmackDown, Roman Reigns announced the official inclusion of The Rock into The Bloodline. During the segment, The Rock pointed at Roman while saying Cody was going to be the loser at WrestleMania. His finger pointing towards Reigns could indicate that he was referring to Reigns losing at WrestleMania.

 

 

3. The Rock puts up a wrong sign: The Rock was a part of the main event in the recent episode of SmackDown. However, during the closing minutes of the segment, he showed a loser sign instead of the bloodline ‘one’ to drop another hint. While The Bloodline’s sign involves pointing the index finger towards the sky, The Rock pointed the index finger with an open thumb.

4. Cody and Rock’s ear conversation: When The Rock first appeared on SmackDown, he walked down to the ring and hugged Cody Rhodes. The People’s Champ hugged The American Nightmare, he said a few words before Cody Rhodes left the ring for The Great One.

5. Promoting Rock vs Roman: During the recent promo at SmackDown, The Rock did not hesitate to point towards a match against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania. First, he said how the crowd rejected the match, then he mentioned the match as a great WrestleMania match card. He also pointed toward the beginning of a feud between him and The Tribal Chief.
