WWE released the official trailer of the latest edition of their WWE 2K franchise, WWE 2K24. The trailer was uploaded from WWE 2K’s official YouTube channel on February 6th, titled Legacy. A few minutes before this, they had uploaded another trailer titled The Story’s Not Finished. 

The game is expected to release in March and the trailer has already dropped major easter eggs and revelations about the game. Well, we were informed about some of the changes/updates in the game, so let’s take a look at all of them.

Details of all the new features in WWE 2K24 game

1. 40 Years of WrestleMania: The game is dedicated especially to the celebration of 40 years of WrestleMania, wrestling’s greatest event of the year. WWE 2K even released a special poster for the same that featured Andre The Giant, Hulk Hogan, and The Undertaker. Players will also get a chance to relive WrestleMania in a special game mode.

2. Revamped backstage brawls: Backstage brawls are an important part of WWE’s storyline development. The new edition has worked on this small, yet important aspect of the game.

3. Casket Matches: A match format associated with The Undertaker is long forgotten now. However, the match format is now back in the game by 2K24.

4. Special Guest Referees: A prominent match type that featured in the development of storylines is also one of the match formats back in the game.

5. Ambulance Match: WWE 2K24 will also feature an Ambulance match, a match format not so common in the main roster. One of the most memorable moments of this match type featured Roman Reigns and Brawn Strowman when Strowman flipped an ambulance.

6. Pulling down straps: As revealed by one of the game developers, WWE 2K24 will also players to lower the straps of a few superstars. The taunt was last featured in WWE 2K19 edition and among the current superstars Bron Breakker and Chad Gable perform the taunt.

7. 200+ roster: As revealed by the game poster, WWE 2K24 will feature a plethora of superstars from the past and present. Some of the notable superstars are Andre The Giant and Hulk Hogan.

Although the game has many superstars included, it will not feature Brock Lesnar who has been WWE’s top star over the last many years. Well, the reason is obvious as well. The game which is developed by Visual Concepts will be available for everyone by next month.
