Roman Reigns has been through a roller coaster journey of late. The Tribal Chief has completed the rare 1000-day reign as a champion, the first for a wrestler in the new millennium. However, his family has broken apart into two after constant bickering.

Now, he finds himself going up against his own Bloodline in order to eliminate creeping doubts about his abilities. His twin cousins, Jimmy and Jey Uso has humiliated reigns multiple times. Most fans have reacted positively to the role reversal, but the 38-year-old is not without support.

Is Bloodline Civil War a path to fix the stable?

Reigns and the newest member of The Bloodline, Solo Sikoa, will take on The Usos at Money In The Bank on July 1. The PLE is scheduled to take place at the O2 Arena in London, United Kingdom. This will also be the first time in 39 years that members of the Anoa’i family will fight one another in a match sanctioned by the WWE.

But how will the match impact Reigns and what will happen post the outcome? There’s no question about the ability of Roman Reigns as a singles player. He’s the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion who has the record for the fifth-longest single reign (and counting) in the history of the company. But there’s plenty of doubt regarding his stature as The Tribal Chief.

If Reigns wins, The Usos have very limited choice but to come back to the fold. While they are considered to be one of the greatest tag teams of all time, the brothers lost their belts at WrestleMania 39 to Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. A loss to a much newer team of Reigns and Sikoa will come as a body blow to them. Even though the twins have attacked and left both Sikoa and Reigns in pain in recent times, the two teams haven’t really fought in a match against one another.

In case The Usos win, it’s likely over for the original Bloodline. Questions about Reigns’ position will only compound and the 6-time world champion might have to abdicate as The Tribal Chief. Those seeking Unification will cheer Roman Reigns and the Enforcer of The Bloodline. So, Bloodline Civil War could either possibly restore or completely crush the once dominant stable.

Fans still remain divided ahead of the all-Anoa’i clash

By virtue of his long run as a champion, Reigns has gathered both fans and detractors aplenty. Gone are the days when Reigns’ nervous nature proved to be a thorn in his growth. In the recent past, he was able to work on his weaknesses and that translated into his golden run.

As The Tribal Chief, Reigns always seeks acknowledgment from the WWE Universe. Keeping up with the demands, some of his fans acknowledge the 38-year-old.

A breakup, in any shape or form, always hurts. This fan doesn’t want The Bloodline to part ways and hence extended their support to the leader.

But not all of them are with Reigns. After Jimmy and Jey Uso battered him with their superkicks, the crowd chanted “you deserve it” in support of the twins’ gesture. Reigns looked on helplessly as the chants grew louder by the minute.

A big part of the complaint about Reigns is his ungrateful nature towards his cousins. While they were present to help him during troubling times in bouts, Reigns did not replicate. On the contrary, he belittled them publicly on various occasions, as this user pointed out.

While it was Jimmy Uso who started the revolt, the ultimate seal of approval came from his younger twin, Jey. After telling Jimmy that he’s out of The Bloodline, Jey joined him seconds before kicking Roman Reigns and making his intentions clear. This Usos fan approves of the newfound freedom Jey Uso’s character is enjoying.
