The last Monday Night Raw episode of 2021 missed some big superstars. But one WWE legend returned after a long time to play a major role in the main event on Raw. WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff surprised everyone by appearing backstage along with The Miz.

The Miz revealed that he had invited Bischoff to officiate his marriage vow renewal ceremony with his wife, Maryse. But it did not turn out to be a happy ending for The Miz, Maryse, and Eric Bischoff. All three got drenched in a bloodbath, courtesy of Edge.

Though he got drenched in the blood on his return to WWE, Bischoff praised Edge and called him a “very intense performer”. He also mentioned about the ongoing feud between Edge and The Miz.

He said, “Well, Edge is a very intense performer, a very intense WWE superstar. So nothing surprises me and obviously, the relationship between the three of them [Edge, The Miz and Maryse] deteriorated to the point where one should expect something like this to happen.”

Edge and The Miz are scheduled to face each other in a match at the WWE Day 1 PPV.

Eric Bischoff revealed his days of officiating weddings might be over

In the backstage interview after Raw, Eric Bischoff got asked that if his days of officiating weddings might get over after today.

In reply, Bischoff said, “I might give that up. The wear and tear on my wardrobe is just not worth it.”

The WWE Hall of Famer had previously played a major role in weddings in WWE. For example, in 2002, Bischoff acted as the priest in Billy and Chuck’s wedding segment in WWE. On AEW Dynamite, he even hosted a party for the Inner Circle earlier this year.
