Edge and Beth Phoenix defeated all odds and emerged victorious against The Miz and Maryse at Royal Rumble 2022. While all of them performed excellently, Phoenix showed the WWE Universe why she’s a true WWE Legend!

During the match, Phoenix showed her massive strength when she power bombed The Miz. Moreover, every time she stepped in the ring to take on someone, the crowd popped!

Following the victory, Phoenix penned down an emotional note for her husband, Edge. She explained how she felt about herself throughout the years and how Edge’s love changed her perception of herself!

“The truth is, I’ve always struggled very hard to love myself. I spent most of my life feeling too big, but pretty enough, not worthy. The character I portrayed in wrestling was everything I wish I was. The Glamazon was powerful, even though inside, I felt so damn weak.”

She thanked The Rated-R Superstar for building a life together and their best times are yet to come!

Beth Phoenix and Edge celebrated with their daughters at Royal Rumble 2022

They secured a glorious victory at Royal Rumble 2022, where Edge and she executed her signature move, The Grand Slam, on The Miz and Maryse respectively. Edge rolled The Miz over after the slam and pinned him for the victory.

After the win, Edge and Phoenix celebrated the victory with their daughters, Ruby Ever Copeland and Lyric Rose Copeland.

The tiny tots were initially behind the barricades, but their parents took them to the top of the ramp, where they posed as a family. Finally, the happy family of four walked backstage.

What is next for The GRIT couple?

Edge has been working with WWE since his grand return at Royal Rumble 2021. However, he did take time off after his match against Seth Rollins at Hell in a Cell.

Even though he is back, it’s unknown if Phoenix has signed a contract that runs beyond WWE Royal Rumble 2022. If it does, some exciting storylines must be brewing in the women’s division.
