The former WWE superstar calls out Elon Musk

Recently, the former WWE superstar Dustin Rhodes came on Twitter and called out Elon Musk to resolve a technical issue he has been facing. He asked for help and conveyed the fact that even though he has subscribed the Twitter Blue, his ‘blue tick is gone.

“@elonmusk , please help. My blue check is gone and need it reinstated please. I am twitter blue”, wrote Dustin Rhodes.

The moment Elon Musk purchased Twitter, it has undergone several changes. And one of the changes is the ‘Twitter Blue’. It is a subscription feature that allows common people to have the blue tick mark in their accounts. Earlier, this feature was only available to celebrities. 

The main reason why Dustin Rhodes has to pay even after being a celebrity is that his number of followers has not exceeded one million yet. Only celebrities with over one million followers can avail of this feature for free.

However, the update has several glitches and several other wrestlers have also pointed it out earlier. Dustin Rhodes has enjoyed a resurgence in the wrestling industry, after signing with AEW. The second-generation wrestler will be delighted to expand his horizons after spending a fruitful tenure at WWE.

Dustin Rhodes’ career in Vince McMahon’s company

The 54-year-old wrestler is currently competing in Tony Khan’s company. However, his WWE career has a long storied history. Dustin Rhodes is the half-brother of WWE Royal Rumble 2023 winner Cody Rhodes.  

Both brothers formed a stable in the WWE in 2013. They even won the tag team championship twice. Dustin Rhodes had five runs in the WWE. He is a 3-time tag team, 3-time Intercontinental, and 9-time WWE (WWF then) Hardcore champion.

He is a well-known name in the world of professional wrestling and the Rhodes family has been serving the pro wrestling industry for a very long time. With all these accolades, it is a little out of place that the former WWE superstar has lost his celebrity tag from Twitter.
