An emotional roller coaster for Sami Zayn post Elimination Chamber
During the WWE post-show press conference, Sami Zayn expressed his thoughts about his match. Zayn said, “I want to apologize in advance because I’m feeling very strange. I know some of these answers are going to be, maybe not what you would expect. I feel very strange in that, I feel very strangely detached, which I don’t know if people want to hear.”
He added, “You want to hear, ‘Wow, I did this. It was awesome. I’m riding high.’ I normally am, but I’m feeling very strange, strangely detached, and I can’t quite put my finger on what it is. On a cognitive level, I know what we just did.”
He shed a light on how The Bloodline storyline worked out. Zayn shared he has done something well over the past nine or ten months. The 38-year-old told this was a dream come true, but on the other hand, he is disappointed for losing the match. Zayn wishes that he could have completed the story.
He further added, “To the people, to the story, to myself, my family, my friends, to Montreal. I know what this is, we all know what this is, but some of this stuff is real. You just kind of dream of that happy ending. So close, but no cigar.” He recalled watching the crowd getting excited when the crowd cheered for him. He feels disappointed that he could win the big one for his hometown. Moreover, his wife was also present at the show and Reigns talked trash to her too.
