Seth Rollins has been nudging Edge since 2014. The two wrestlers fought an epic battle at the SummerSlam PPV where we witnessed Edge go to that “other place” in order to silence Seth Rollins.

But it seems like the two of them are not through which each other as tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown on FOX from the Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida we saw Edge challenging Rollins for a match next week.

Seth Rollins rekindles rivalry with Cesaro

This week we saw a clash between Seth Rollins and Cesaro. Knowing Cesaro, the WWE Universe was expecting a physical match-up between the two individuals.

Right after the bell, Cesaro catches Rollins with a big tilt-a-whirl backbreaker to start his series of attacks. Cesaro then slams Rollins face-first into the barrier, then brings him in at the 7 count.

Midway through the match, Rollins missed an enziguri and gets sent into the ropes. However, he planted Cesaro face-first into the mat for a close 2 count using Edge’s Impaler DDT.

Rollins pulls an ‘Edge’ to make a statement

Cesaro nailed a big uppercut that stopped Rollins in his tracks; he then goes up for a superplex but Rollins slides down and launches Cesaro across the ring with a big Buckle Bomb.

Towards the ending of the match, Rollins had a steel chair in his hands while Cesaro ran around the ring with another uppercut into the barrier, but Rollins picks up a steel chair and Cesaro collides with it.

Eventually, the referee calls for the disqualification, but it does not stop Rollins from executing the chair shots to Cesaro.

Referees rush down to check on Cesaro, however, Rollins delivers a Stomp to put him down face-first into the mat. Rollins then brings another chair in and looks to deliver a Con-Chair-To to Cesaro.

But this time, Edge made his way out with a huge pop from the crowd, but Rollins made his way out laughing and taunting Edge.
