He was also happy with how he and his opponent carried the unique bout. The current AEW superstar also stated that he initially hated how the match looked on the screen. But later found it fascinating, given how and where the match was filmed.

Why did Edge initially hate the match?

Since it was a taped match, WWE used special effects, unique camera angles, and several edits to polish the Edge vs. Orton bout footage. But when the WWE Hall of Famer saw it, he didn’t like it. Though he said in the interview that Vince McMahon was incredibly happy with the final product, he still was somewhat unsatisfied.

But his satisfaction vanished the moment he saw the unedited raw version of the footage match. There was no audience in the crowd since it was pandemic time. But even with an empty arena, the oozing rawness of the match sent him on cloud nine.

The match lasted for 36 minutes and 35 seconds, placing it as the second-longest in WrestleMania history. Due to the length of the match, some people criticized the match. But it was a superb match nonetheless and the WWE Universe enjoyed every bit of it.
