“Earned My Respect”: Horrifying Visuals of Rhea Ripley’s BF Buddy Matthews on AEW Collision Leaves Everyone Flattered

Pleasing wrestling fans can be a tough task. Superstars, who have to perform at a high level, risking their lives and overcoming horrific injuries, compete for the approval of fans. AEW, which is one of the fan-favorite promotions, produces hard-hitting wrestling, pleasing hardcore fans whenever superstars give their soul. Now, in a heroic effort, Rhea Ripley’s real-life boyfriend, Buddy Murphy, has won over those hardcore fans in continuing a match despite sustaining a scary injury on AEW Collison.

On the latest edition of AEW Collision, ex-WWE superstars, Buddy Matthews and Andrade Idolo competed in a ladder match in the opening bout. The match was for Idolo’s black mask, which was hanging high above the ring. Idolo, after having his mask stolen by Malakai Black, Brody King, and Matthews, wanted to reclaim the mask. He successfully did that after defeating Murphy in an intense clash.

While the match lived up to the hype, fans caught a special moment during the match. In a video posted on Twitter, we can see that Murphy, popped his shoulder, got it back in its place, and went on to finish the match.

The scary visuals jolted the AEW universe as the pain and agony were visible on the superstar’s face. While he didn’t win the match, he definitely won on social media with messages pouring in all around.

Buddy Murphy was once an ex-WWE superstar, having captured the Raw tag team championship with Seth Rollins.

Since joining AEW, he has found a place for himself in the House of Black and put on impressive performances. This was again evident in the recent edition of Collison.

Not only did he impress the fans with his work in the ring but during the match he underwent a gruesome spot where he popped his shoulder back in place after it was dislocated.

Many fans admired Murphy for his tenacity.

Most of the fans showered compliments by calling him a beast.

This fan added banter by including Rhea Ripley as well.

Another fan countered people who said it was fake and defended the AEW superstar.
