Johnson will be appearing on Night #1 of WrestleMania XL. This will be his first match since 2013. Teaming with his Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns, he is set to take on Rhodes and Rollins. With Mania taking place on April 6 and 7, Johnson may pack his bags from the WWE once Mania is over. So, the question remains, will he appear post-Mania? Reports suggest that the Hollywood star may appear at WWE SummerSlam on August 3.
However, the prospect of his return hasn’t come via official confirmation as the movie’s filming has yet to start. Speculation suggests that The Rock could betray his Tribal Chief at Mania to ensure Rhodes wins the WWE Universal title. This could lead to a Johnson vs Reigns feud.

As far as The Rock returning before SummerSlam, the chances are slim. On numerous occasions, Johnson has said he would not risk his Hollywood career for the WWE. Regarding The Rock returning as a babyface or heel, it depends on what shenanigans go down at Mania. If he turns on his Tribal Chief, he could return as a babyface which is more comfortable. However, as a member of the Board of Directors on TKO, Johnson may not step into the ring. What do you think? Will Johnson Headline SummerSlam? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below.
