Dwayne Johnson has been absent from the WWE world since Raw after Mania this year. However, one of his close aides is keeping in touch with the company despite leaving it behind. Brian Gewirtz watched SmackDown 06/28 in MSG and was not happy with the entertainment that the wrestling company had in store to keep the fans entertained.

Even though The Awesome Truth has won over many hearts in WWE, the former writer in the leading wrestling company doesn’t seem to be a fan of them. He uploaded a clip of the two wrestling talents recorded from the ringside and called them out openly.

SmackDown in MSG closed on an unfortunate note. To lighten up the mood again, WWE called in The Awesome Truth. In a video that Brian Gewirtz posted on his X account, we can see both The Miz and R Truth walking down the ramp to the ringside, rapping along their theme song. Gewirtz called out the tag team by captioning the tweet, “Congratulations Mae Young giving birth to a hand, you’ve been replaced as the most awful thing to ever happen at a WWE MSG show.”

Monday Night Raw on February 28th, 2000, featured a new addition to the Mae Young saga when she gave birth to a literal jelly-covered hand during a backstage segment. It seems that the SVP of Development at Seven Bucks Productions had not been able to recover from that episode until he saw The Awesome Truth rapping their way into the hearts of the New Yorkers present at the venue.

It seems like this could give The Rock a new foe for when he comes back to the wrestling promotion. But The Miz may not be the priority, as DJ’s family is seemingly distancing itself from him.

Following his debut in WWE, Jacob Fatu was featured in a podcast. While talking to the interviewer, he explained his relationship with the Hollywood superstar. This is when The Werewolf claimed that Johnson is technically not a ‘part of the family’.

Peter Maivia had good relations with the Anoa’i tribe, making him an honorary member of their clan, but not related by blood. These strong social connections is what strengthened their relationship moving forward, making Dwayne Johnson a notable member of the Samoan dynasty even if they were not blood-related.

During the podcast, Jacob Fatu got a little technical and explained how The Brahma Bull is ‘not’ related to the family by blood. So, the way that the newest member of the faction has disregarded his relation, could ultimately mean something. Considering how wrestling talents are usually careful of their kayfabe during interviews, could this be foreshadowing the future?
