Roman Reigns and The Bloodline came out to the Brooklyn crowd as The Rock cut his promo and waited in the ring. As he made his way to the ring, Reigns made his #1 gesture on the ring’s apron. Out of the camera’s view, The Rock acknowledged his Tribal Chief. This was normal for The Rock, but he did it much slower than anyone else. However, things changed once Reigns and The Bloodline were in the ring, which led to more fan speculations.

Once in the ring, Reigns and The Bloodline made their gesture again. However, Johnson, in the background, did not raise his hand. While fans quickly noticed it and called it out on social media, The Bloodline fans claimed that Johnson already did it, so why repeat it? This is where fans drew their conclusions. If The Rock acknowledges Reigns as his Tribal Chief, he should do it whenever The Bloodline does it. This is why fans found it odd seeing Johnson stand with his arms down in the background. While the camera tried not to catch it, it was visible in the wide shots.
