WWE Tribute to the Troops show is set for Friday, December 8. The annual professional wrestling event is held by WWE and Armed Forces Entertainment and will air live from Providence, R.I. on Fox at 8 p.m. ET. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson meets the Chief of Staff of the Army at the Pentagon

Johnson recently went to the Pentagon and shared some photos of how his day went. He shared a picture with General Randy George, Chief of Staff of the Army, where both men were seen shaking hands. In the caption, he revealed that he also met General Deb Kotulich and General Laura Potter and had a great time meeting with them as well.

He then disclosed that he is looking forward to working with General George’s team. A collaboration with the US military so close to the WWE Tribute to the Troops show is bound to spark curiosity among the fans as he might be planning to show up at the WWE event.

WWE Tribute to the Troops happens every year during the holiday season. As the name suggests, the show is a gesture by which WWE and its superstar express their gratefulness and gratitude towards the US armed forces.

WWE has been paying tribute to the US military every year by doing a show in their honor since 2003. Every year, the show takes place in December. In the show, the WWE Universe honors the sacrifices made by these brave men and women who put their lives on the line to protect freedom.

The event was the brainchild of wrestler John “Bradshaw” Layfield. He suggested it to Vince McMahon, who gave the idea a green light. This year WWE will celebrate the 21st edition of the annual show. WWE is committed to supporting the U.S. Armed Forces for many years.

They have visited almost 400 military installations worldwide and offer free tickets to WWE live events for all U.S. military personnel. WWE has also partnered with military organizations like Hire Heroes USA and the National Medal of Honor Museum to support the USO and share stories of the bravery and valor of our nation’s heroes.
