Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is one of the most successful persons in the world. But even the Hollywood actor had his struggles during his early days.

Before he stepped into the squared circle in WWE, he tried to pursue a career in football and NFL. But unfortunately, he could not make it big over there. And later, he rose to superstardom because of his WWE career.

Recently, ‘The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment‘ took to Twitter to talk about his early days and what did he learn after an early setback in his career.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson received a full football scholarship at the University of Minnesota. He played for the Miami Hurricanes National Championship team. But he would have only one start in four years.

Later, after graduating, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson joined the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League. But it did not work out for him over there. And he had tryout matches with WWE soon after that in 1996.

Though The Rock did not have a successful football career, his passion for the game is still alive. And it has been evident over the years.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson made a pre-game appearance at the Super Bowl LVI game

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson never played in any Super Bowl game. But he appeared on the field during the Super Bowl LVI game. He took to the field before the match and gave an amazing introduction for the two teams- Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals.

His introduction made all his fans nostalgic as it brought back memories of his electrifying promos in WWE. The Rock has not appeared in WWE for a long time.

It has been over five years since he last competed in WWE. The WWE Universe has missed The Rock for all these years and will hope that he appears soon on WWE television once again.

Recently, there have been rumors about Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson returning to WWE. But how realistic are those rumors? Only time will give an answer to this question.
