The Rock‘s return speculation intensified with multiple social media teases as of late. Finally, it came true when The Great One showed up midway through the episode of Monday Night Raw and launched a serious blow to the anti-American gimmick presented by Jinder Mahal.

Following the boiling segment with Mahal, The Rock produced another stellar showing as he fired off a Roman Reigns reference in his promo. However, that was not all that The Rock did tonight at the red brand. He had a small reunion with Becky Lynch years after their phenomenal in-ring segment in 2019.

The Man and The People’s Champion share a remarkable history. The Rock appeared on the blue brand’s 20th-anniversary show back in October 2019 to elevate Becky Lynch — and beat up Baron Corbin in the process. He celebrated alongside Lynch at the end of a one-of-a-kind segment.

The former Women’s champion talked about that day in several interviews articulating how The Rock made her feel super comfortable around him and how she’s eternally grateful to the legend for that impromptu segment.

Four years later, the duo again met and had a warm moment together backstage at Raw tonight.

It remains to be seen if this duo will engage in another heart-melting segment in the future or not.
