Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is one of a kind. In recent years, people have seen his acting skills and wrestling skills. But he is also a big football fan and even played the game during his early days at the University of Miami.

Before entering the professional wrestling world, The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment tried to pursue a career in football. He received a full football scholarship at the University of Miami.

In 1991, he represented the Miami Hurricanes’ National Championship team. He started only once and mainly had a backup role. NFL star Warren Sapp also played in the same team during his time over there.

Recently, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson reacted to a photo of him representing the Miami Hurricanes Football team back in the 1990s.

In his tweet, The Rock recalled being almost broke during his time playing for the Miami Hurricanes Football team. He also claimed the Miami Hurricanes football teams had insane talent during that time.

The former WWE Champion also signed with the Calgary Stampeders of the CFL post-graduation. However, it did not turn out to be a success for him over there. And later, he stepped into the pro wrestling world.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson had a special appearance during the Super Bowl LVI game

The Super Bowl LVI game between the Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Rams took place at the SoFi Stadium on February 13. The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment made a pre-game appearance and delivered an electrifying promo to introduce the teams.

That made all his fans nostalgic as they remembered The Rock’s days in WWE.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is also an entrepreneur and a top Hollywood star. His recent films and projects are the most probable reasons for his absence from WWE. However, one can certainly expect The Rock to once again return to WWE sooner or later.
