‘The Smashing Machine’, the new and ambitious biopic of Mark Kerr, has come to a standstill due to an injury sustained by Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. Who, after failing with ‘Black Adam’ and securing his future in the mainstream by signing a historic agreement with Disney, will get into the skin of the famous MMA fighter. And he will be accompanied by the beloved Emily Blunt.
And now it seems like the movie will resume shooting after Johnson uploaded a recent clip on Instagram as he resumes his MMA training. However, can there be more than meets the eye? It is hard to ignore the fact that the Brahma Bull uploaded the clip moments after the much-awaited debut of Jacob Fatu.
Fatu, the former MLW star and another member of the Anoa’i family, made his WWE debut after saving his brothers Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Tanga Loa by single-handedly thrashing Kevin Owens, Randy Orton, and Cody Rhodes.

Ever since Solo Sikoa took over the reins of the Bloodline, he has claimed that he is not the new Tribal Chief. Instead, he is just following his orders. And since the Tribal Heir is already going against the former chief, Roman Reigns, it seems plausible that the new Tribal Chief may turn out to be the Rock. He did promise that he would be returning to face the American Nightmare. But there is a high likelihood that Dwayne Johnson would also have to face Roman Reigns, as the former Tribal Chief would like to take back his throne. And to help him out, the theory is that Jacob Fatu might turn out to be a mole in Bloodline 2.0. So could his new Instagram video be hinting at the future fight?

This would even the odds. As, for now, the new Bloodline lineup seems way too strong for the former Tribal Chief to take over single-handedly. As for Johnson, he is expected to return around SummerSlam. So maybe he would be using his new MMA techniques on Jacob Fatu. The WWE loves long-term storytelling. And this uploading of the clip can be a subtle way for the Rock to establish that he is further improving as a fighter. And would always be the best in the Bloodline, despite Fatu joining.
But let’s not forget that the Samoan Werewolf too is also a scary fighter. Since he began his career in 2012, Fatu quickly stood out for his agility and power in the ring. In MLW, Fatu joined the group “Contra Unit” and became a dominant figure. There, he won the MLW World Heavyweight Championship in 2019. He held the title for more than two years. Cementing himself as one of the most prominent champions in the promotion’s history. So it would surely be interesting to see the two square off. What do you think? Who would win if they fought?
