The Great One will be back in action this weekend in one of the most important tag team matches in WrestleMania history. The match will see The Rock team with current Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns to face the duo of Cody Rhodes and World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins. The match will also mark The Rock’s first in nearly 12 years since he last faced John Cena in the main event of the 29th edition of the Grandaddy of Them All.

However, he took tonight’s Hall of Fame ceremony as the last chance to deliver a promo against his rival Cody Rhodes before their fight tomorrow. And while the moment was intense inside the squared circle, things got warmer outside the ring as well and the Rock got into a confrontation with a fan.

The Rock warns a Cody Crybaby

This year’s edition of the Hall of Fame gala closed with the inclusion of Lia Maivia, with her grandson, The Rock as the representative. The Rock briefly talked about his grandmother and her lineage while also throwing some darts at Cody Rhodes ahead of their match at WrestleMania. Finally, the ‘People’s Champ’ closed the speech and the gala by wishing everyone a great time at WrestleMania.

However, on his way backstage he heard a fan call him “p*ssy”. This made the Rock stop and ask the fan to repeat what he said, to which the fan warned the Rock that the American Nightmare was coming for him. But this was enough for the Rock to drop the F-bomb on camera as he said, “Watch your fucking mouth” to the ‘Cody crybaby’.

It surely looks like the Rock is enjoying his turn to the dark side. Embracing the hate and boos he receives. So much so, that he is even showing up at WWE events really late just to piss off the fans.

The Rock mocks the Philadelphia fans

Yesterday, WWE officially kicked off its promotional events ahead of WrestleMania XL. Fans in attendance were able to enjoy a great event called ‘WWE World’. An event that featured a super store to buy all the merch of WWE Superstars. In addition to this, there were several other WWE-related activities. One of those activities was a meet and greet where fans were able to meet superstars such as; CM Punk, Seth Rollins, and Cody Rhodes, among many others.

The Rock too was a part of the event.  But he showed up 90 minutes late on stage, unleashing the obvious boos of the waiting audience. The Brahma Bull was scheduled to appear at 4 p.m. ET. However, he arrived two hours late to the event showing up at 6 p.m. ET. The response of the self-proclaimed Final Boss, however, was in full-heel style.

Rocky said he was busy watching Philadelphia Eagles player Jalen Hurts miss the playoffs, with the home crowd booing the Hollywood star even more. It surely looks like the Rock loves his heel run. Do you think he will continue being a heel even after WrestleMania? Let us know in the comments.
