In an interview with TMZ Sports, Triple H revealed the story of ‘The People’s Elbow’ while talking about Undertaker. According to The Game, the move was an attempt by the DJ to make Mark Calaway break his character.

We’d spend a lot of time in that match, especially me, Austin, and Rock, Foley too, trying to make Undertaker break character.
