Dwayne Johnson’s Daughter Ava Deactivates Twitter After Exposing Death Threats Sent to Her

As a result of the current storyline in WWE, NXT Superstar Ava—the daughter of Dwayne Johnson “The Rock” —has become the target of death threats. Ava, whose real name is Simone Garcia Johnson – who is now NXT general manager, has been the target of horrible abuse in the days following.

She has been the target of much criticism since her father unexpectedly took Cody Rhodes’ spot at Mania. This made viewers feel ruined the plot between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes.

Ava Urges WWE Viewers to “Leave Her Out Of It”

While NXT Superstar, Ava denies any involvement in this. She claims of receiving a deluge of hate mail and death threats following her father’s surprise appearance at WWE.

On X, the social media platform, Ava expressed her frustration with being involved in a show. She added, “death threats over a situation I have nothing to do… bffr.” and deactivated her account.

The Rock’s reported intentions to replace Cody at ‘WrestleMania‘ have drawn criticism from fans who invested in the path of the so-called American Nightmare. #WeWantCody was the most significant trend on X in the US for most of the weekend. During last night’s (05.02.24) episode of “Monday Night Raw,” the crowd chanted loudly, “Rocky sucks.”

Although Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Cody, and Roman will be present at a WrestleMania media in Las Vegas on Thursday (08.02.24). WWE analyst Michael Cole emphasized, the battle between The Rock and Roman isn’t yet confirmed.

When part of the UFC and WWE merger in September 2023, parent company Endeavor founded TKO. Heading to this month Dwayne formally returned to WWE in a new capacity when he joined their board of directors. He also took received ownership of the name ‘The Rock’ in the deal, which was previously WWE’s intellectual property.

But PLEASE, don’t take this moment away from Cody. We want to see you fight Roman, but Cody deserves to beat Roman for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Encourage him to be the one.”
