Dwayne Johnson has upended several things all at once by his very presence in the WWE right now. Several Cody Rhodes fans are rooting for their hero and want to see him beat Roman Reigns and Johnson. However, such a task is easier said than done, especially with The Bloodline backing them.
But, while Dwayne Johnson is a very tough opponent to conquer, the WWE Universe knows that he isn’t invincible. Especially when he stepped into the ring with his arch-nemesis, who dogged and badgered him in the Attitude Era. Interestingly, a former WWE talent has shed light on the possibility of Rock’s rival re-emerging as Rhodes’ Wiseman. It is to help him finish his story.

The latest episode of the Busted Open podcast saw pro wrestling expert Matt Camp take over the guest’s chair. Speaking of Dwayne Johnson and his WrestleMania XL interference, Camp said that The Rock will need to be kept in check at Philadelphia. Nominating the perfect man to do this, he took the name of Stone Cold Steve Austin.
Camp said, “The biggest rival of The Rock (Dwayne Johnson) is Stone Cold Steve Austin and Stone Cold Steve Austin always says this ‘If you didn’t get into this business to main event WrestleMania you are not in it for the right reason. You should always have that aspiration.’ Give me that.” Elaborating on his fantasy booking further, Camp highlighted how Austin can be included in the matchup.
He said, “Give me an intro between Alabama and Las Vegas where Cody talked with Austin and Stone Cold said ‘Kid, do not step aside. You earned this. You won the Royal Rumble. This is for your dad. This is why you got into the business.” He was keen on motivating Rhodes to go and win the title for all the hard work he and his father did.
“This is your story this is the family story and I’ll be damned if I am gonna watch The Rock take your spot. Don’t let that happen.’” Furthermore, Camp noted that unless Rhodes satisfies a condition, he won’t be able to finish his story, even if he wins WrestleMania.
How can Cody Rhodes truly finish his story?
Matt Camp noted that Cody Rhodes will need to defeat Roman Reigns in a one-on-one match to truly finish his story. He said that Rhodes getting backup from his friends or Reigns’ enemies would take away from his glory. But, Stone Cold will need to step up if Rhodes wants to be carefree about Dwayne Johnson.
