Dwayne Johnson’s $80 Million Co-star Pips Him to “Sexiest Man Alive” Title Ahead of Their Shooting Schedule for Upcoming Film

Dwayne Johnson is arguably one of the top stars in Hollywood currently. His aura and charisma have always set him apart from his colleagues and given him a completely different dimension. After failing to make it big as a footballer, Johnson chose WWE as his career. After an extremely successful stint in WWE, Johnson switched his career path to Hollywood.

Although he struggled initially, he made it big in Hollywood and is currently the highest-paid actor in the world. Over time, the 50-year-old has also trained and carved his body into one of the most impressive physiques of all time. His impressive physique also earned him the People’s 2016 ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ title.

Dwayne Johnson is indeed one of the sexiest people alive. He even won People Magazine’s 2016 Sexiest Man alive title. However, prior to the results of 2022 coming out, there were a lot of nominations for this award, and many deserving candidates for it.

However, after 2016, there have been several other winners for the title, but Johnson has always claimed the title to be his for life. Prior to Paul Rudd winning in 2021, Johnson claimed, “Whoever you put on the cover, it doesn’t matter because I’m always going to be the Sexiest Man Alive. I don’t give it up.”

On a similar note, prior to Michael B.Jordan winning in 2020 and Idris Elba in 2019, Johnson had again claimed this title to be his. In 2019 he claimed the same that when Idris Elba’s cover dropped. While they were in London. And he congratulated Elba for the title. But also reminded him about, “I am the Sexiest Man Alive in what’s called perpetuity. That means, for life.”

He has also claimed this title on similar lines previously on various other occasions. Johnson’s $80 million worth co-star, Chris Evans, won the title for 2022.
