A few months ago in October, Dwayne Johnson released Black Adam, a passion project of his. However, the film failed to create an impact on the critics and performed poorly at the box office. However, the film was loved by the fans.

Dwayne Johnson often claimed how hard he worked behind the film being made, and how passionate it was for him. However, it did not matter when the DCEU decided to scrap Henry Cavill as Superman. DCEU’s Co-CEO James Gunn decided on scrapping Cavill as the new Superman after he had announced his return a few months ago.

However, going on Johnson’s words, The Brahma Bull himself was not much fond of Cavill as Superman. Speaking on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’, he declared how DC had other superheroes from the usual Justice League. He said, “I love the Justice League and I love Superman. But I always felt that, you know, if you look past that, there are some really cool characters in the DC Bible.”

Johnson had also claimed previously stated Black Adam used to be his favorite superhero. With Henry Cavill now removed as Superman, fans wonder if it was Dwayne Johnson all along.

Will there be no sequel to Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam?
