Dwayne Johnson Turns Heel to Join the Bloodline, Logan Paul’s New Challenger Announcement, Cody Rhodes to Confront Roman Reigns? & Much More: WWE Smackdown 02/09 Preview and Predictions

WWE carried on from last week’s episode of SmackDown and WrestleMania XL kickoff press conference. While on the way to WrestleMania, Triple H and WWE are cooking a fantastic set of dishes ready to be served at the grandest stage of all. However, before the main event at Lincoln Financial Field, the superstars will meet at Spectrum Stadium, in Charlotte today. What will happen this time? Let us dive into what one can expect from the upcoming episode of Smackdown.

The Bloodline, Tag-Team titles, US Championship, and Bayley on WWE SmackDown

1. Dwayne Johnson‘s heel turn and The Bloodline drama: Dwayne Johnson has officially turned heel in his recent segment on WrestleMania XL kickoff press conference. Carrying on the new chapter of The Bloodline story combined with The American Dream storyline. 

But what’s next in the story? If The Rock appears at SmackDown, we can expect massive boos for him and Roman Reigns. Another explosive face-off is expected this time with The Rock beside Roman Reigns.

2. Logan Paul’s next challenger: The US Champion successfully managed to defend his title against Kevin Owens somehow at the Royal Rumble. Now, he plans to proceed to WrestleMania with the title. But Nick Aldis aims provide an opportunity for someone to have a crack at the title. So, who will it be? 

3. Tag Team title contender: Tyler Bate & Pete Dunn won their tag-team fatal fourway match on the previous edition of SmackDown defeating LWO, Pretty Deadly, and Legado Del Fantasma. Now, they will face another team which will be determined after another tag-team fatal fourway. The winner will get a shot at Damian Priest and Finn Balor from The Judgment Day.

4. Bayley vs Damage CTRL: Last week on SmackDown, Bayley turned face when she was attacked by Kairi Sane and Asuka. At the end of the segment, she challenged Iyo Sky for a title match at WrestleMania. But, what will the next segment be in the storyline? Perhaps the leader will come face-to-face with her prodigy seeking an explanation behind the gradual exclusion of Bayley from Damage CTRL. Will we see Dakota Kai? And will that add more intrigue to the story?

5. LA Knight, Randy Orton, and AJ Styles: While carrying on from their fatal 4-way match at Royal Rumble, the three superstars are not done with each other. While AJ Styles and LA Knight have growing beef with each other, will Randy Orton jump insert himself in the feud?
