Dwayne Johnson is known for several things aside from his WWE and acting career, and his generosity is one of them. While The Rock is looked at as the epitome of masculinity, he still hasn’t lost his boyhood. Recently, the inner kid inside him got the chance to take over his 51-year-old self.

With the holidays approaching, Dwayne Johnson decided to revisit a place from his childhood and shared the result on his social media. In particular, it’s a place that any kid would be happy to visit, a toy store. Not just that, but The Rock decided to spread some holiday cheer ahead of Christmas.

Dwayne Johnson becomes pre-Christmas Santa

Dwayne Johnson uploaded a video on Instagram that showed him visiting the FAO Schwarz toy store in New York City. The post carried the caption, “You know I love to do crazy cool shit for people because it keeps me from going insane. @FaoSchwarz I love you and thank you for letting this big kid never grow up!!” The Rock further told about his childhood connection with the toy store.

The Brahma Bull added, “When I was a little boy, my old man would wrestle in New York City once a month at Madison Square Garden — and every month I would dream about going to FAO Schwarz to buy a toy.” Turns out, Dwayne Johnson still understands how good it feels to get a new toy and to be in a toy store.

The customers of FAO Schwarz wondered what was going on when they saw Dwayne Johson inside the store. However, their happiness knew no bounds when The Rock said, “The gifts are on me.”

The Rock recounted another memory he had at the toy store, specifically one that involved his mother. With this in mind, he made sure to buy toys for everyone who entered the store.

Giving new life to a 40-year-old experience

Dwayne Johnson also recalled his experience in 1983 when he bought a magic set with his mother in the post’s caption. The Rock wanted to do the same thing again after 40 years in 2023. While the magic set he bought back then cost his mom $13, he received a huge bill for his gesture of goodwill towards people.

But, the people’s responses made everything worth it. While several kids screamed gleefully, parents were happy, appreciative, and thankful for Dwayne Johnson. This was not the first time that he was excited for a holiday. A few weeks ago he had some uplifting words on Thanksgiving day as well.
