In a bid to give the people a taste of the “spirit of the earth”, the Hollywood mogul launched his tequila business named Teremana Tequila. Dwayne Johnson recently took to his social media and revealed the identities of the key people involved in the process of tequila making. 

Whether you know him as The Rock or Dwayne Johnson, he is one of the most driven and competitive human beings on the planet. But his hard work alone did not contribute to the perpetual success of his tequila company.

Dwayne Johnson recently suffered a massive loss from his XFL business. According to reports, Johnson lost a whopping $60M as the XFL’s first season concluded. While his XFL is showing signs of a white elephant, his Tequila company is proving to be a cash cow.

Taking to Instagram, Johnson posted a picture of Jose and Trino, the Jimadors of Teremana Tequila. Furthermore, Johnson gave his fans a peek into the refreshing agave field. He wrote, Teremana Jimadores – José and Trino – who take tremendous pride in cultivating our fully mature, blue weber Teremana agave.

He further praised his “generational” Teremana Jimadores for their all-encompassing knowledge and experience in the field of tequila making. He added, “From sunup to sundown they are the backbone of our tequila-making process.”

Johnson conspicuously surrounds himself with like-minded people who work extremely hard toward the vision of his company. Recently, Teremana Tequila reached a new milestone of having sold 1M cases annually.

Teremana Tequila came into existence during a time when the entire world was shut. However, the global pandemic did not encumber the promotion of The Rock’s brand. Johnson joined hands with Dany Garcia, Jenna Fagnan, and Ken Austin to produce a brand that would fetch them millions.

And Dwayne Johnson used his powerful social media presence to spread awareness about his brand. The global icon used his 345 million Instagram fan following to market Teremana Tequila. Moreover, Johnson also saved a floundering Applebee’s from bankruptcy through his business proposition.

Dwayne Johnson got the ball rolling by having Applebee’s sell the nectar as a tropical drink to its customers. And today, the company’s vision is to continue with its on-premise operations and branch out internationally.
