Dwayne Johnson Reveals His Mother Has an Entire Room Dedicated to Her Favorite Hollywood Star

Dwayne Johnson is someone who values his family more than anything. We have seen how much DJ cherishes the family moments as he intermittently posts about them, including his mother, on his social media. 

His mother, Ata Johnson, has been a firm and loving presence in his life. She is clearly one of the biggest fans of her son as well. In the recent NBC sitcom, Young Rock, which is based on Johnson’s life, we have seen how much Ata encouraged her son to be successful in whatever he puts his effort on.

Recently, Dwayne Johnson appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live to promote his new movie, ‘DC League of Super Pets’. During the show, Johnson revealed to guest host Kerry Washington about Ata Johnson having a room dedicated to him in every house.

The Rock said, “She has a SmackDown room.” “I get SmackDown every time I go in there because she wants to bring, every guest want to go to the SmackDown room but she insists I go with her. So there’s nothing more horrifying than just standing there she’s like, ‘And this is’ Dewey is my nickname.”

He added, “‘This is Dewey when you know and this movie’. It’s every poster, every award, any little and any kind of proclamation. Oh but that’s what our parents do.”

Ata Johnson has always seen her son as a star right from a young age, like many mothers see in their kids. Having a room dedicated to The Rock is a way for his mother to show him her love.

Further in the video, Washington jokingly said her mother only has .jpeg images in her phone instead of a room. Also, the guest host said probably her mother would also dedicate a room for if she would buy a house like Johnson gifted a brand new house to his mom.

Kevin Hart roasts Dwayne Johnson over buying a new house for his mother

A few days back Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart were promoting their film on Extra TV. In the interview, Hart roasted The Rock over buying his mother a new house. The comedian said, “A billion dollars later, he finally bought his mom a house. Fine. Should we clap for that? I think the whole room by now is thinking the same thing. It’s about f**king time.”

Johnson was laughing for a long time when Hart roasted him and still isn’t over it. He recently shared the tweet attaching the same interview video. Moreover, he started the tweet with the line that made him laugh the most, “It’s about f**king time.”

Further, the WWE legend recalled his jaws are still in pain over that roast Hart did in the interview. He ended the tweet by showing his love for Hart and how their next movie together would be a blockbuster.
