Dwayne Johnson Revealed Once He Got Bit by a Life-Threatening Poisonous Insect

Dwayne Johnson was the highest-paid actor in Hollywood 3 years ago. His influence and impact on the movie industry is not a quantitative one but a qualitative one. He has been a part of some of the best action films in the past few years.

Everyone who goes to a Johnson movie gets to see The Rock do crazy stunts and deliver charismatic dialogues. But the first of those could seriously hurt him in the long run.

Being an action hero who has revealed previously that he does his own stunts, Johnson constantly puts himself in danger. Many of his movies require him to either jump from a building and being near explosions like in ‘Rampage’ and ‘Skyscraper’.

Or he is in the jungle, which is a dangerous environment in and of itself, doing crazy stunts like in ‘Jungle Cruise’ and ‘Jumanji’. While we have never heard him complain about it, he once opened up on one of his life-threatening situations.

Dwayne Johnson once opened up about a life-threatening situation

In a game of guessing which Australian animal is poisonous, Johnson revealed a fascinating story about himself. When a funnel-web spider appeared on the screen, Johnson said, “This one I know for sure, I was bit by it once.”

While the two love to share laughter with each other, Blunt and Johnson both kept it serious and moved on to the next question.

Ever since his exit from the wrestling world, Johnson has put all of himself into action movies. There are many stories of the present-day Arnold Schwarzenegger or Sylvester Stallone doing one of his dangerous stunts.

Some of the most challenging ones were in the movie ‘Rampage’, where Johnson’s character was fighting a virus-infected animal that grew 10x its normal size. In this movie, Johnson jumped off of high-rise buildings and swam while breaking debris.

But even after all these movies and stunts, Johnson has already signed up for more of them. Coming next year, ‘San Andreas 2’ will see The Rock chasing in fast cars and playing with gunfires again, just like the last one.

While we enjoy Johnson doing all of these movies, we also hope that he takes care of himself and doesn’t get into another life-threatening situation like this one.
