Dwayne Johnson is a much sought after celebrity no matter where he goes. His status as a mega star has increased many folds in the recent years and he continues to be at the center of everyone’s attention.
Whether it’s fans, his co-stars or celebrities from other genres, everyone wants their moment with The Great One. This proved to be the case again on the recent episode of Saturday Night Live.

According to musician Questlove, popular American R&B singer SZA challenged The Brahma Bull to an arm wrestling contest backstage at SNL with a unique bet. SZA performed at SNL and it has been a much talked about segment from the show.
But it turns out there was another newsworthy event that took backstage involving the singer and the Hollywood star Dwayne Johnson.
SZA bet Dwayne Johnson in an arm wrestling contest
Dwayne Johnson has been no stranger to appearances on the SNL, having performed various skits on the show over the years.
This time around, however, it was the turn of other stars to take stage while The Rock was backstage. Popular R&B singer SZA, real name Solana Imani Rowe, rocked the stage with an electric performance while actress singer Keke Palmer hosted the show.

Musician Questlove then reported that the fun extended beyond the cameras as he witnessed a ‘cool celebrity moment backstage.
On his Instagram, Questlove posted the details of the encounter between SZA and DJ as the millionaire singer challenged the former WWE champion to an arm wrestling match.
In his Instagram post, Questlove wrote, “Sza was the musical guest, and she bet Dwayne Johnson, who was hanging out backstage with a reporter from ny times, that she could beat him in an arm wrestling contest.”
He then revealed the details of the bet put forward by SZA. He wrote, “She said if she won, The New York Times reporter had to stop doing their story about Dwayne, and make it about her new album instead. And I kid you not, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson actually accepted the challenge.”

Questlove then said that The Rock beat SZA to win the contest and the bet. For fans of both SZA and the Black Adam star, this is indeed a celebrity story that is fascinating and they would want to hear more about this from their beloved stars.
Although SZA didn’t get her album story in the New York Times, she did deliver a surprise to her fans on the renowned sketch show.

The singer said that her highly anticipated album S.O.S will release on December 9. The track list of her new album will feature 23 songs and artists such as Travis Scott, Don Toliver and Phoebe Bridgers.
