Dwayne Johnson is one of the few individuals who transitioned from pro wrestling into acting. After reaching the top in WWE, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has enjoyed success in Hollywood.

Today, he is one of Hollywood’s top stars. Hollywood and WWE are obviously two different places. In WWE, The Rock had to sell matches, and he had to sell movies in Hollywood.

During an interview with Chris Van Vliet some years ago, Dwayne Johnson revealed how selling movies and selling matches are the same to him from a marketing standpoint.

He said, “I think it’s the same because it’s my passion, it’s my love, it’s what I love. I love making movies, I love making entertainment and on a lot of different spectrums and levels and in the ring to try and sell a match, I would rather it be on me.”
