Johnson appeared in the 2010 Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg starer action-comedy, The Other Guys. The Fast series star only appeared for a total of 15 minutes in the film’s runtime. For his humble appearance, he earned a whopping amount of $9 million according to wonderwall.com.
The Rock is one of the highest-paid actors in the movie business. Moreover, the 10-time WWE Champion is one of the highest-paid actors in the industry.

However, Johnson is not the only wrestler who has made it big in Hollywood. John Cena also holds similar accolades and he is no stranger to making big bucks for action studios either.

John Cena appeared in the 2015 Amy Schumer starer movie Trainwreck, appearing at the start of the film as Schumer’s love interest. Cena’s part lasted for a paltry three scenes. Though, he took home a whopping $2.5 million for his blink-and-miss appearance in the project. An unusually high sum if one considers what the 16-time World Champion was up to at that time.

The Doctor of Thuganomics was still a full-time wrestler back then and had not transitioned into the full-fledged actor he is today. The movie also notably featured NBA great LeBron James.
Dwayne Johnson has carved out a more than a successful career in films. It’s a testament to his massive star power that he can command a mammoth payday without the bat of an eyelid. Johnson’s appearance might only be for some minutes in The Other Guys, however, it would have undoubtedly garnered a lot of publicity for the film. And for that, the makers wouldn’t have minded parting ways with $9 million.
