After introducing Hulk Hogan to the fans, Michael Landsberg jokingly teased The Hulkster by giving a reference to Dwayne Johnson. Now, what did Landsberg say in his introduction for Hogan?

During the interview on TSN Off The Road, Landsberg said, “When you talk about the wresting one on ones that we have done, we have had all the greats. This one is our biggest ever. He is probably the biggest moneymaker in wrestling history, the biggest crossover star the ring has ever produced. I got to talk to the guys off camera. This sounds like The Rock’s intro. This is The Rock or Hulk Hogan? I don’t know.”

Both Hogan and Johnson have been two of the biggest moneymakers in the pro wrestling history because of their huge and lovable fanbase. Both have featured in Hollywood movies as well. So, it kindles an argument that who is the biggest out of these two. And that’s why Michael Landsberg joking teased The Hulkster by asking him the same.

What did Hulk Hogan say in his reply?

Hulk Hogan’s answer gave Landsberg clarity as he himself admitted, following The Hulkster’s response. Now, what did Hogan say? The WWE legend noted, “No brother, The Rock is the guy that walks through the door when I open it for him.” 

You might think The Hulkster is saying all this in his pro wrestling character. No, he is not in his character in this interview. However, there are no hard feelings or heat between Dwayne Johnson and Hulk Hogan. Both of them respect each other and their work.

Dwayne Johnson has not wrestled in WWE for a long time. The reason behind his disappearance from WWE television is his Hollywood success. This is a secret to none. The Rock is currently one of the biggest stars in Hollywood.

Thus, his Hollywood schedule plays a major factor in his rumored return to WWE. If his Hollywood schedule lightens up, then possibly fans can once again see Dwayne Johnson in WWE competing in a match once again. Nothing is confirmed or official yet related to The Rock’s WWE return. But the fans are hopeful of Johnson’s return to WWE at WrestleMania 39.
