The internet is still reeling from the shocking return of global megastar Dwayne Johnson last week. After jolting the WWE Universe on SmackDown, he recently shook an American Football Prime Coach as well. The star made a surprise visit to College GameDay to surprise Deion Sanders. While the coach jumping with joy to meet him was endearing, it’s his message on social media post the event that has caused anticipation.

The Rock, in a series of posts, thanked fans and GameDay for this warm welcome but it’s his reply that came as a promise to one comment that has stolen the show. 

Dwayne Johnson makes an enormous promise

For those unversed, Johnson made a spontaneous appearance at the Colorado vs. Colorado State match, set in Boulder, to gatecrash Deion Sanders’ interview.

In his typical classic avatar, the megastar made his entry with his iconic theme song, sending the fans in attendance wild. As the two entities exchanged in lively banter, The Rock set the ball, rolling with his electricity.

But interestingly, it’s his reply to one of his comments under his appreciation post that has garnered more response. In the picture posted by Johnson below, the superstar thanked the people in attendance for their love and warmth.

Underneath the post, one of the comments featuring underamour said: This needs to be a regular occurrence 👏” , to which DJ replied with: “@underarmour we shall make it so 😊”

This has truly generated curiosity among fans, who can’t wait to see the superstar make more appearances in the future. Even though they’ll have to wait for his next move at GameDay, fans certainly got a glimpse of what he can do with his towering presence.

The internet exploded on the first edition of SmackDown post the merger. With them expecting a great episode, courtesy of John Cena, they weren’t nearly expecting to see the former world champion come back.

His last appearance occurred in 2019, in a segment featuring Becky Lynch, so it had been a long time since fans worldwide saw Johnson, rundown his opponent. Add to that, he shared screen space with Cena for the first time in 7 years, after their moment at WrestleMania 32 against the Wyatt Family, much to the glee of fans worldwide.
