Dwayne Johnson is quite active on social media. He never misses an opportunity to give his fans a sneak peek into his life. That’s the reason why his loyalists always have an idea of what the wrestler-turned-actor is up to. Johnson has kept up the trend as he recently shared a hilarious clip on his Instagram account.

The People’s Champ’s popularity means that it’s very rare for him to get snubbed. But that was certainly the case as the newest member of his family left him high and dry.

In a reel posted by Johnson on his Instagram, he can be seen trying to grab hold of his pet mouse. The short video shows his careful and calculated attempt but he sadly sees his target get away from his grasp at the last moment. The caption to the post read, “I think it senses my intentions #cheatmeal.”

The funny post is bound to tickle the funny bone of many social media users. On top of that, Johnson’s cheeky remark makes it all the more hilarious. Netizens are happy to see any glimpse of his, and this reel will surely make their day more joyous.

In 2015, Johnson provided a home to two rescue dogs. He adopted two French Bulldogs Brutus (colored Beige) and Hobbs (colored black and white). The latter was also featured in a workout video posted by Johnson in early 2022.

However, Brutus sadly passed away a few weeks later in 2015 after eating a poisonous mushroom. The 10-time WWE champion even penned a heartfelt tribute to his late pet. It displays the less-seen emotional side of the action star. A far cry from the usual joyous face that people are accustomed to with Johnson.

Dwayne Johnson never ceases to amaze his massive fan circle. Whether it be his banter with peers in the Oscars backstage area or his activity on social media, Johnson always has something up his sleeve that can keep the fans enchanted.

His recent Instagram post featuring his pet mouse is another shining example of his connection with the masses. And undoubtedly would have given many a reason to at least chuckle.
