Cody Rhodes has received a phenomenal level of support throughout 2023 which kept increasing as WrestleMania approached in 2024. But the sudden hijacking of his moment by Dwayne Johnson has launched fans into an uncontrollable frenzy. In fact, a recent social media post showcased their anger of fans as they ratio’d The Rock.

Dwayne Johnson recently appeared for an interview wherein he said that as a heel, he started calling himself ‘The People’s Champ’ to anger people. However, fans actually loved that name and fully accepted it. But, the situation is playing out exactly how The Rock wanted it to play during the attitude era.

Wrestlemania.com recently added a tweet showcasing the rage and dissatisfaction of the WWE Universe with two images. The tweet carried the caption, “We living in a world where the Rock is getting Ratio’d.” The first image showed a tweet made by Dwayne Johnson while the other showed a comment made by a fan on the tweet.

The tweet made by Dwayne Johnson had received 13K likes when the screenshot was taken. However, the comment on the tweet carried 25K likes, and it said, “WE WANT CODY RATIO”. While The Rock called himself the People’s Champ in his post and talked about creating magic, fans showed who they actually wanted.

In fact, the WWE Universe had also made their feelings known via a mountain of dislikes thrown at Johnson.

The official YouTube channel of WWE recently uploaded a video wherein they showcased Dwayne Johnson uninvitedly taking Rhodes’ spot. The infuriated fans smashed the dislike button and instantly made it the most-hated video on the channel with 500K dislikes. 

Moreover, since this video was only released in the US, that means the video could have received even more hate. These numbers were pulled from Google’s video-sharing platform just nine hours after it was posted. Many people even started alleging that Dwayne Johnson was abusing his power as a TKO board member.
