The Fast and Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw was the last movie of the F&F franchise that Dwayne Johnson was a part of before his cameo appearance in Fast X. The movie was an obvious hit among fans, still, there was a huge issue with it.
The movie wasn’t linked with the original Fast and Furious movie series. And, it created a rift in the F&F Universe that fans didn’t appreciate.
The reason behind this disconnection was Dwayne Johnson’s disagreement with Vin Diesel’s condition. Diesel wanted that the Hobbs and Shaw should be connected to the main Universe. But, The Rock declined it because of the beef.
However, the upcoming F&F spin-off won’t repeat that mistake as the movie will act as a bridge between Fast X and the upcoming Fast 11. In this way, the fans will be able to connect more with the film series. And on top of that, they might also be able to see Dwayne Johnson in Fast 11.
Johnson and Diesel shared the big screen for the first time in 2011. And in 2016, there was a minor conflict between them. And soon enough, that minor conflict turned into a big Hollywood drama.
