The historic merger between $21.4 billion WWE-UFC is set to usher in a new positive dawn. However, it has started off in uncertain terms. After acquiring the reins of WWE, the first thing that UFC’s parent company, Endeavor, did was lay off many talents from the roster.

Apparently, a total of 20 talented wrestlers have been released from the company so far. The most prominent name on this list is Dolph Ziggler. When the news of Ziggler’s WWE career coming to an abrupt end hit the news, Dwayne Johnson came forward to express his sympathy for ‘The Showoff,’ while also giving him hope for the future.

It was only a matter of time before Ziggler was removed from the shoulders, as the wrestling aficionados were already suspecting him of cutting ties with the Stamford-based promotion. With an unexpected appearance at an AEW show recently, Ziggler prompted the fans to question his WWE future.

Ziggler had a segment on the August 14 episode of the YouTube show ‘Being The Elite.’ AEW’s The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega hosted the show. Surprisingly, the former WWE star got screen time on the YouTube show compared to his WWE TV appearances in the past month.

The last time the WWE Universe saw him on WWE TV was on the May 29 edition of Monday Night Raw. Ziggler has been loyal to WWE for 19 years. He had a legendary career with 1554 matches and multiple title wins under his belt. Since he is no longer in WWE, will he go to AEW now? What do you think?
