Dwayne Johnson was last seen in WWE a few months ago when he made his grand return to SmackDown. The former wrestler has been busy with other things since then, with his WWE appearances scarce thanks to his acting career. Despite the busy schedule that clouds us from predicting Johnson’s future appearances, there are chances that we might get to see him sooner than expected.

The credit behind this would go completely to the tourism officials of Western Australia as they are trying their best to include The Rock in the upcoming PLE taking place in Perth.

New reports from The West Australian suggest that Dwayne Johnson’s appearance at EC ’24 is a possibility that we cannot overlook. All thanks to the tourism officials responsible for looking into the matter, the WWE legend’s appearance is increasingly possible.

Emails recovered by The Sunday Times under freedom of information laws show the officials asking the promotion, “What ability does the host have to dictate key talent to participate in a standalone premium live event? For example, could we aim to secure WWE alumni such as Dwayne Johnson?” Unfortunately, WWE’s answer to this was redacted.

However, there is still hope that The People’s Champion might show up at WWE Elimination Chamber to ‘participate’ in a match inside the ring.

If “The Brahma Bull” is to appear at the PLE to wrestle, then he would need to have a storyline to work on. However, considering his busy schedule, WWE would most probably build up on the story that he had already got going in the promotion. Here we are talking about the feud that he has with Austin Theory.

Johnson’s WWE return put him directly against Theory as the WWE legend humbled the young wrestler with merely a few wrestling moves. However, this feud got further carried on during a live stream where both Austin Theory and Grayson Waller were present. The two stars were asked whether they would be interested in a tag team match against “The Rock” and Pat McAfee, and they had a peculiar response.
