Dwayne Johnson turned heel after a long time at the WrestleMania KickOff event. After the slap incident, fans saw him get comfortable in his old “Hollywood Heel Rock” personality when he returned to SmackDown on 02/16. The WWE legend wore a sparkling vest for his appearance in the show that took place in Salt City Lake, while also adorning his heel persona.

However, The Rock couldn’t handle his evil side for longer. As a result, the Hollywood superstar ended up breaking character while making the day of a young fan who was present in the arena along with the others.

Before closing off the blue brand show on 16th February, The Bloodline had an important announcement to make. After talking to the fans for a good while, Roman Reigns welcomed the newest member of the faction into the arena. Fans were excited to see Johnson’s heel alter ego walking down the ramp. However, this gimmick couldn’t stay intact for long.

Once the show came to an end, Johnson was back to being a ‘good guy’ again. After completing the promo alongside his Samoan cousins, The Rock walked towards the ringside crowd and noticed a kid waiting to interact with the WWE legend. The Hollywood superstar couldn’t keep him waiting and threw away his kayfabe personality to make the young fan’s day.

Dwayne Johnson walked up to him and gave him a fist bump that he would get to flex for the rest of his life. Someone in the arena recorded this precious moment, allowing us to revisit The People’s Champion interacting with his ‘people’.

While it appears to be a video of DJ putting down his kayfabe ‘heel’ persona, some fans have argued that he hasn’t turned heel at all. He may be trying to sabotage The Bloodline from the inside.
