One of Dwayne Johnson’s most famous WWE gimmicks was the eyebrow raise. The Rock would often tilt his head and raise his eyebrow to express himself. Although Johnson has not laced up a pair of wrestling boots for years, fans still remember him for his legendary wrestling persona. Be it Hollywood or business, he never fails to accentuate The People’s Eyebrow.
That said, Dwayne Johnson recently reacted to a fan who mastered the eyebrow raise. In fact, she raised it even higher than The Rock after having too many of his ZOA energy drinks.

Dwayne Johnson is currently grabbing headlines for recruiting seven college athletes for a big money deal. He signed Angel Reese and six other young stars to “The Rock’s Warriors” annual NIL program to promote his energy drink, ZOA. Amidst the buzz about his energy drink, one of Johnson’s popular fans, named, “Lis.Wonder”, took to Twitter to show the effects of consuming a ZOA. A few too many ZOA drinks it seems.
In the picture, the fan is seen flaunting the iconic eyebrow raise. While there are many who can pull off the move, this fan’s eyebrow may have set the record for reaching the highest mark. She would also seemingly bet that haters would call it photoshopped.
She wrote, “When you drink too much @ZOAenergy”
In response, The Red Notice actor took to Twitter to express his surprise at the level of “madness.” “Arch madness,” he wrote, followed by clapping emojis.

Nevertheless, Dwayne Johnson is shelling out a lot of money for his ongoing campaign. At the same time, he is continuing to make a lot of money from his other business ventures. ZOA Energy was established in 2020. Teremana Tequila, Johnson’s Tequila company, was founded the same year. At this point, no sky is too high for Johnson to reach. However, he is unlikely to break his fan’s eyebrow-raising record.
Interestingly, Dwayne Johnson’s legendary eyebrow raise was inspired by a Polynesian wrestler.
Dwayne Johnson made “The People’s Eyebrow” famous after stealing it from Gil Hayes
Although Dwayne Johnson is associated with the eyebrow raise, Gil Hayes, who had close ties to The Rock’s family, was the inspiration for it.

The late wrestler’s wife told Slam Wrestling how DJ and she would sit and watch Gil do the interviews. Gil would often stick his eyebrow up the same way that The Rock does. But his wife also admitted that The Rock was the one who popularized the gimmick, owning it after Gil.
