Dwayne Johnson and WWE President Nick Khan’s Little-known Relationship Explained

Dwayne Johnson will always be popular for his run in WWE before transitioning into a Hollywood action hero. He spent eight years in wrestling before making acting his full-time profession and has just grown on a larger scale.

Even though he is busy promoting and making movies or in his new ventures, ‘The Rock’ is still in touch with WWE. He has made several WWE appearances in the past few years and connects with all of his WWE colleagues and friends.

However, one of his lesser known friends in WWE is the President of the company, Nick Khan. Khan needs no introduction as of today and is in the limelight since he joined the company in the year 2020. Surprisingly, Nick Khan is a close childhood friend of Dwayne Johnson.

The Rock, last year in December, shared a picture on Instagram of him having dinner with Nick Khan and his sister Nahnatchka Khan having dinner. Dwayne Johnson and Nick Khan are childhood friends since they left in Hawaii.

Johnson, in the caption, wrote, “This one’s special. Means a lot to me. Years in the making.Full circle. In the mid 1980’s, Nick Khan, his sister Nahnatchka Khan and myself used to run around as kids in Honolulu, Hawaii every month when my grandmother would promote her pro wrestling shows at our local arena. As kids we LOVED the pro wrestling business and as adults, our love and respect for the wrestling business has become boundless.”

The NBC series Young Rock depicted the life of The Rock from his childhood to the present. The first season was a hit and fans loved all the episodes, which showed us many actors portraying wrestling legends.

The second season of the show was also released this year and was loved by fans. However, there was a decline in viewership, but NBC announced the series will come back with season three in the future.
